Our law firm is currently seeking an experienced Accounting Manager. The ideal candidate is an independent, solutions-oriented professional with 5+ years of relevant  experience.

What You’ll Do In this Role:

• Finance & Accounting: Daily management of accounting for high volume claims recovery operations to include transactional analysis of recoveries received, reconciliation of recoveries to client records, detailed reporting and disbursement to clients; Partner with firm leadership on AP/AR, cash management, client trust account management, payroll, month-end, quarterly and annual reporting, budgeting/forecasting, and tracking.
• Tax Compliance: Work with the firm’s leadership and outside accountants to manage tax compliance, preparation and filing.

What You Must Bring:

• 5+ years in business accounting operations, ideally in a law firm or claims recovery environment.
• Working knowledge of operations accounting, client reporting and other business accounting operations.
• Familiarity with law-firm financials (trust accounting basics, reporting).
• Coordinating with accounting, payroll and tax vendors and troubleshooting day-to-day issues.
• Organized, data-minded, and calm under pressure, excellent communication skills.
