Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Human Resources Generalist to lead and support our HR initiatives across the organization. This role involves managing human capital management processes, employee relations, compliance, and talent development. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, extensive HR knowledge, and the ability to implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals. The Senior HR Generalist will serve as a key partner in fostering a positive workplace culture, ensuring legal compliance, and driving workforce effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Lead onboarding new employees.
- Develop, standardize, and maintain HR templates, forms, and documentation to support compliant and consistent employment practices.
- Design and implement an electronic document management system for personnel files, policies, and compliance records.
- Administer benefits programs, workers' compensation claims.
- Ensure compliance with employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, and affirmative action planning.
- Manage employee relations issues through conflict management and effective communication strategies.
- Support change management initiatives and organizational design projects aligned with strategic planning objectives.
- Develop and implement training & development programs to enhance workforce skills.
- Conduct data collection and analysis related to HR metrics for decision-making purposes.
- Collaborate on HR sourcing strategies to attract top talent through social media management and other channels.
- Maintain documentation related to contracts, policies, and legal compliance standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in human resources management with a focus on talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and organizational development.
- Extensive knowledge of human capital management systems.
- Strong understanding of employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, workers' compensation procedures, and affirmative action planning.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively manage conflict and foster positive employee relations.
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
